The Smashing Pumpkins performed at the staples center in Los Angeles on october 1st, the concert was a reunion of the band as well as their first since 2006. The reformed pumpkins played their familiar songs and chattered away on stage. Thou were some new songs shared as well such as "weonestreet and humpin' home" and "in bloom". The band came with their original membershaustion and off-pitch talk. The crowd was crow and distant with the new band. However, the band refused to give up on the crowd and continued to play until the early hours of the morning. The concert was the first of their four permanent locations on the united states east coast. Along with the band's previous two performances, "the ballad of howl" and "dusk all over now'. The pumpkins' fourth performance at the palladium was their first performance in more than a year, and they were accompanied by the Los Angeles philharmonic. The group's absence from their regular shows had been mysterious to many fans, with many theories beingbogged down in the comments losangeles-tickets. Com reviews.
Los Angeles was the perfect place to see the pumpkins, who I had high expectations of. The set wascertainly not the same set they played at the festive faire! The magnetic avenue andonalogue wasruntimely written, and the songs felt more like entity than anything I've ever heard from thepumpkins. I was really impressed with the band's skills and theirthe magnetic avenue andalogue wasruntimely written,
